I found Greg serendipitously when my original realtor was not responsive to my needs. Greg really listened to what I wanted and only showed me houses that were true possibilities for me. I was super-impressed that he keyed in so quickly to what I was looking for and was so good at finding homes and neighborhoods I was interested in. He really helped me identify the pros and cons of every choice and helped me pick the absolute right house for me. He continued to be a huge help even after closing on my house by helping me find contractors and services I needed. I've worked with about 10 realtors during various moves over the years and Greg is BY FAR the best realtor I've ever had. He knows the market really well and is truly gifted at matching people with their perfect home! While I was selling my home in Pasco county, Greg and I worked together for 18 months looking at homes in St. Petersburg. He immediately figured out my likes and dislikes and would call to tell me he found "the house"! And he really did!! We first contacted Greg Burton in February 2007. We had recently retired and planned to live in Florida seasonally. We had built a home in Hudson, Florida in a new, gated community. After spending one season there, we knew our real love would be an older home, a bungalow, in an older, established community. St. Petersburg was a frequent destination for its wonderful entertainment and food options but we were only marginally aware of its historic neighborhoods.
Once we began to consider a home in St. Pete, we began to research the historic architecture and neighborhoods. We bought books and surfed the Internet in search of information and options. On one of these searches, Lea read an article about historic preservation, written by Greg Burton, a St. Pete realtor. His understanding of, and passion for older homes was clear. He responded immediately to our inquiry and began to send links to potential properties so he could diagnose how we matched the current market.
By the time we met Greg, he seemed to have an instinct for what the type of home and location we wanted. We had two or three appointments and saw a number of homes. But even more important than the houses, Greg taught us about the history of the neighborhoods as we toured the city. When we stopped in front of a small, Mediterranean Revival home in the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood, all thoughts of a bungalow were gone. We loved the home. And we bought it.
We would not hesitate to recommend Greg Burton to our friends. He is professional, knowledgable, and fun to work with.

Greg is the ultimate RE professional. He has excellent marketing skills, a thorough knowledge of the area and it's various neighborhoods, and an ability to be honest and perceptive with both a seller and a buyer. Greg is also able to understand and correctly interpret various contracts and addendums, which is crucial for a successful closing.
Greg has represented us as our RE agent on more than one occasion and we have recommended him to many others. Our last home hit the market just after the '08 downturn, one of several homes in our neighborhood for sale within the same price range. Our home was one of the few that sold - in fact, we had a contract within three weeks of listing, followed by yet another.
For anyone who is serious about selling their home, we highly recommend Greg Burton. He is a full time professional with a proven track record, and is personable as well.

As a newcomer to Florida, I had no understanding of the St Petersburg market or it's neighborhoods. Greg went the extra mile, not only to find the right property for me, but to make sure I would be in an area of town that would be interesting as well as convenient. His service went well beyond the closing to make certain al the I's were dotted and all the T's were crossed. I couldn't have done it without him!
